Another day has gone by,
Where I tell myself a little lie;
Things will get better.
But, what I say doesn't matter.
It's all the same,
This feeling doesn't fade.
And the closer I get to okay,
The further I drift away.
It's like I'm stuck in a circle.
Can't get over this hurdle.
Every day, my heart aches a little more.
I've forgotten what I'm even here for.
And that's when I take a breath, and look in the mirror.
It's time to fake it, it keeps me here.
